Managing Change in Digital Transformation

I work my magic between business and IT. I make people happy by ensuring they feel part of tangible and believable initiatives. As their coach, I support individuals and teams in shaping coalitions and real co-ownership for sustainable transformation. Together, we keep things ambitious yet achievable.

I am not an IT guy, but a change expert who “speaks tech” to moderate between the two worlds.

Clients call me a “Sherpa” because I carry the heavy load, but getting to the summit is their journey.

Co-Ownership as a Target Model for Digital Transformation.

This is my perspective—if you’re seeking my take on the future of digital business transformation: We must move from a demand & delivery-driven model to real co-ownership of business and IT.

When asked to visualise AI’s impact on IT operations and the growing imperative for increased digital maturity, this illustration captures the current state (2025): projects act as connectors between business and IT, enabling delivery of tailored services and applications in response to specific needs. Real ownership, however, exists mainly where technology integrates with business processes.

Looking ahead, this must evolve. To seize the full potential of AI and emerging technologies, businesses need to deepen their technology expertise. Only then can AI-driven solutions be crafted for maximum impact. IT and business functions must increasingly collaborate—meeting in the middle and jointly owning user experience and application logic. This partnership ensures solutions are built from both technical insight and business understanding.

In the future, business teams will fully own user guidance, adoption, and realisation of long-term value. At the same time, IT will maintain responsibility for security, stability, and infrastructure—aligning all efforts and safeguarding data and intellectual property.
